My Darling

I have drawn myself into an honest confession of a simple fact,

There are no words at my command sufficient,

To profess myself a votary of love for you.

I am but a son of nature,

Loving what I see and feel,

Without being able to give a reason,

Nor caring much whether there be one.

A true First Lady gets not the credit she deserves.

She brings so much grace and charm to whatever she does,

Even stuffy,

Formal functions,

Sparkle and turn into fun times,

Done with class.

I love your strength, your grace, and your determination.

Without you, there would be no sun, no moon, no stars.

With you, they are all out at the same time.

I love the rose,

Your garden grows.

To know that you love me means my life,

Full of everything I could ever dream of.
